First Batch.

I went to Cornerstone University, to study exercise science, not photography.  While there, I took a couple photography classes (on a whim, just for fun) and these are some of my first shots I did.

This picture started my 'thing' for benches.

These two were taken at a local cemetery in GR, I know its a bit creepy, but they are kinda fun.

My friend Brooke and I chased this fire truck around campus, because it was number 13.  We finally caught up.
A view as we were leaving a weekend trip to Chicago.

Grand Haven Lighthouse. My friend Laura and I took on the ice/snow to get some cool pictures.
Catholic church, downtown Muskegon.

This was my bathroom doorknob when I lived in Spring Lake.

My personal favorite.  Rosa Parks Circle, GR. In the summer, they have table and chairs (or at least they used to).  Makes me miss my college roommates.

Hope everyone's weekend was great!

Rain.

I cannot get enough of these flowers this spring.  And what's even better then pretty flowers, is when it rains on them and leaves rain drops.  These were taken at my friend Kristy's house, (the bleeding heart was at my house, while I was testing a new lens out).  Enjoy  :)

This was in their front yard. Jim and Kristy have 6 kids.  All 6 names are on here, but the last two got a little blurry.  Sorry Samuel and Lydia!

The Dirkse Family

Meet Will and Holly Dirkse.  Being good friends of mine, I have been able to do pictures for them, in many different situations.  They go from a married couple, to an expecting couple, to a proud mom and dad of little Charlie.  I'm so blessed to be able to be a part of this little guy's life, and I would love to share them with you all.

Love you Will, Holly, and Charlie.

Spring

This is why I love Michigan. I love the seasons, and the change of the atmosphere. Spring and summer are an obvious favorite, and here is why.

Karyn was a good sport, and posed for some fake senior pictures.  Just for fun.

Sunsets

A peek at what I'm working on right now instead of sleeping.

So many different colors tonight!!
Joy

New Blog.

My name is Joy Wildfong, and I love to take pictures.

Welcome to my new blog.  I am a photographer in West Michigan, and am setting up this blog to show some work, and maybe get some new clients.  I have done work for families, children, newborns, engagements & weddings, high school seniors, and the occasional sports pictures.

This is my niece Haley and I last year on my birthday.

Thanks for visiting my blog!
